Anyone a member of Community Union?

I'm considering joining but don't have any experiences of unions.

My situation could be slightly unusual in that I am the only employee in the business, that is a charity, but am not a freelancer. It's a clerical kind of post reporting to a governance structure.

you'd be better joining unison as they are a bigger charity and do more (they were brilliant with me). They also have experience of public sector / government so therefore more relevant I think than community. Community may not have much support or resources available in your area as they are still quite a small uniono whereas Unison are huge.
