Remote Legal typing - any genuine companies to work for?

I’m a legal Secretary with lots of experience in different areas of law, currently working as a legal Secretary but part time to fit around childcare, however partner works shifts so there are a few days I can fit in some extra work but as they are not set I can’t commit to more hours at work.

are there any genuine agencies/companies I can join where I can pick up work/dictations/typing to do?

ive done a little google research but can’t seem to find any transcription agencies that require anyone with legal experience :(

im sure there will be some around but I’m yet to find them and would rather go on someone’s recommendation anyway.

I have found some but they are a set up where you’re self-employed and need to buy the pedal and other transcription software. Then I think you can find work in areas of law you’re familiar with and the better you are the more work you get. It can work for people but I’d rather be employed… if you’re interested I can send you links to places I’ve found though I’ve not pursued it further :)

I think I may have come across a few but worth seeing if there’s any Ive not come accross.

for me the issue is the same, I don’t really want to have to purchase a foot pedal and specific software to do the job.

I saw a different thread on here where there is a company dict8 i think they are called but that’s for medical transcription and from what I can gather they have a lot of work but you need current experience as a medical secretary.
