Finally Pregnant but potentially starting a new job?

Hi guys,
So I’ve been trying for about 6 months to get pregnant, have recently had a miscarriage and now finally have had my BFP.
Ive been very unhappy at work recently (I’m a teacher) and have been wanting to leave, I’ve been putting it off due to me thinking I’ll just get pregnant soon.. but I didn’t think it would take months.
I finally applied for a job in a school that looks lovely, I’m super excited about it and have been offered an interview, I really want to work there. However I’ve JUST found out I’m pregnant, if I were to get the job and start in September I’d only work there for a term before going on maternity leave.

I feel really guilty about even going for the job now, but I’m just so unhappy at my current school and this is such a great and rare opportunity. Being a woman is hard in this situation, if I was a man I’d literally just crack on no problem!!

HELP!

It is of course up to you. However your new employer will be annoyed. They can't do anything but they will not be happy. That isn't your problem other than the fact that it doesn't help you establish yourself. I am a teacher and I went for an interview at about seven months pregnant. I was obviously honest and I still got the job but my maternity leave wouldn't have impacted my new job.
