Can't attend interview time

I've been offered an interview for a job I would be very interested in, but unfortunately I can't attend the time they've specified. Is it bad to ask if any other slots are available?

Why would it be bad? Worst case, they say no and you're in no worse a position than you're already in 🤷🏼‍♀️

We've adjusted candidates' interview times - please do tell them when you can make.

For future reference, if the interview dates are published (ours usually are, but I appreciate that isn't universal) then it helps us to know in advance times applicants can't do, as we can put together a timetable that includes restrictions.

Good luck!

Not at all. I've done it heaps of times, and others have done it to me. No employer would assume that the one slot they offer you is definitely going to suit you. People have jobs and lives.

The worst that can happen is they say no because they have so many candidates and are doing bulk interviews on that day. They won't judge you for it though.

Hope you managed to get this rearranged and good luck!
