i have no job to go back to after maternity leave , they are making me redundant, any ideas on how much i should get ? i have been working there about 2 years .

Unless they are paying over and above Statutory redundancy pay, it won't be massive amounts. Below is a calculator for working out the statutory minimum:

You are entitled to ALL your SMP though, so if they make you redundant as of 31 Jan, but more SMP is due to be paid after that, they have to pay you all you are entitled to, not just up to 31 Jan.

What does your contract say?

Also, they cannot choose you over others for redundancy because you're on maternity leave...are you happy that the fact you are on maternity leave is irrelevant?

I agree with Dilbertina. Did you know that you are also supposed to get priority for any redeployment opportunities?
