I was offered a job on Friday over the phone within the hospitality industry for a new branch of the company which is due to open at the end of the month. I have never worked in the industry before so I have to go for training in another branch prior to opening, the other branches being at least 45 minutes away. I still haven't received my contract/offer in writing and haven't had any communication about when/where I'm expected to go for training. They know I have a child so know I will have to arrange child care for training days. I don't know how long I should wait before contacting them again? Anyone any advice? Thanks! 😊
