Argh. Think I’ve cocked up basic skills test

I’ve got an interview on Friday and have been asked to complete a basic skills test ahead of it. The job is data driven - I’m doing a very similar role in the same industry already. But the skills test had questions that were completely irrelevant and each one was against the clock. I could have done the test in the time given easily if I’d been able to manage how much time I spent on each question, but HATE having the seconds ticking down right in front of me - massively stressful. To be clear, the job may entail working to tight deadlines/turnarounds but all planned ahead of time and certainly not with a timer in front of me. Everything will have time for a double check before going out to stakeholders too. At NO point in this job am I going to need to solve a fecking equation in 100 seconds. I know as a result I’ve made some silly mistakes. I so cross with myself ☹️

Ask if you can redo
I had one of these the other day and asked to redo and they let me.

Hmm ok. I may do that. I had literally <no> idea what it was going to ask and it totally threw me.

i don’t know if asking to redo would give the employer the right impression?
