Looking on a career change but not quite sure what to do.
What did you ex-nurses do after you left?

These threads may be helpful, some suggest side-stepping into related roles. Good luck in finding a suitable role 💐

Go into cosmetic nursing OP. Botox. Fillers. Work for yourself.

In my area nursing homes are desperate for p/t nursing staff, so basically you can choose your own hours.
Also one of my friends joined an agency and did 'granny sitting' for seniors which wasn't very taxing.

We have an occupational health company at work who come in twice a year for flu jabs, health checks etc. The nurses who do that seem pretty chilled out!

Covid vaccines at a hub.

Abortion care. Best decision ever

I left to teach clinical skills and never looked back, hope you found the right thing for you!

If anyone in this thread is interested, I'm aware of a study that's recruiting for early career nurses who have left within 5 years of qualifying - it's about "telling your story" which will help to raise awareness of why people might leave nursing with the aim of getting our voices heard.
