Computer Skills

Hello

What’s the lowest level qualification I would need which would give me some saleable computer skills, preferably online work?

Longer term, I will look into learning coding. But for now, I’m just looking for something that would enable me to earn a bit of money - I don’t mind how menial or little-paid.

Apologies if this is a naive question. I’m a very fast learner, but it’s difficult to know where to start. I’d prefer something I can self-teach as much as possible.

Thank you

Surely it depends on where you are hoping to work?

Typing speed / touch typing might be more important in one job, but using spreadsheets in another.
Many (most ?) will have their own systems or computer programmes that are used for that particular job.

Have you looked at your local college for free or paid courses ?

Basic computer skills are different to coding skills

What sort of job are you looking for ?
