Our client based in Thatcham, Berkshire is looking to hire an Accountant to join their rapidly growing business. This is a part time, flexible position perfect for parents who are ready to return to work.
The right candidate will be expected to take on sole responsibility for the accounting department and assist with budgeting and budget planning.
Standard shifts:
Monday to Friday
2 to 3 days per week - Flexible hours if required
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Responsibility for the accounting department
Budgeting and budget planning
Invoice production
Preparation of management accounts
Analysis of figures
VAT returns
Payroll and expense reconciliation
Requirements:
Partly ACA qualified - or higher
Experience in trial balance and profit and loss accounting is essential
Confident with Microsoft office eg: Excel and Xero
Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
