Enchanted dbs check

Hi, I've applied for my dbs check back on the 30th of March, it had taken 2 weeks to go to stage 2 and now been sat on stage 4.
Im going out of my mind keep checking this, I'm on a countdown for this to come through so I can go back to work.

Can people advise me on how long roughly there's have taken?

From memory, mine took about 3 weeks, but this was about 18 months ago.

Do you mean enhanced, not enchanted. Is it a magical DBS check?

My enhanced check came in in two weeks recently. Ignore the idiot calling you out for spelling.

Mine came in a week but the one I did my for my colleague at the same time took 5 weeks.

Knew there would be one humourless response to that. 🤣 Was waiting for it. 🤣

I process these for work. Had 2 employees doing the same job, applied, processed and submitted at the same time via the third party platform we use.

One came back in 2 days, one came back in 4 weeks. Both clear. No rhyme or reason to it I've found!

Additionally, our 3rd party platform doesn't allow us to chase it until it's been stuck at a single stage for more than 90 days. Not sure if you can chase directly with DBS office.

DS had to do 2 recently for a new job. One came back within 7 days the other took 10.

Three weeks and counting here…been stuck at stage 2 😐

Simple spelling mistake. I was looking for people to give me advise on how long it had taken them. Not the spelling police.

It’s probably an auto correct rather than a spelling mistake surely! Auto corrects can be funny.
