DP is about to become a SAHD and wanted me to ask whether he needs to inform anyone that he's not in work ... any ideas?

May be worth considering having child benefit paid to him as he will then get NI credits for the period of time he is at home.

flowerybeanbag · 09/01/2008 15:59

Ooh Trinity did he really?! How exciting!

No, to OP, sorry for hijack

ChubbyShcotsBurd · 09/01/2008 15:59

Well that's what I said! He said what about social security but since we're not claiming anything I don't think so.

Just asking to keep him happy tbh!

If you get child tax credit you might need to let them know.

Also worth changing any savings into his name then he can be 'tax free'.

flowerybeanbag · 09/01/2008 16:03

Did he win you an ipod?

TrinityRhinosDhWonHerAnIPOD · 09/01/2008 17:47
