Morning, my DS is leaving his casual (non-contract) restaurant job which he has held for 1yr. He is only 17 and works casual hours of approx 12 hrs a week. He has messaged his employer via normal routes (no emails) to advise him of his resignation (as he isn't due into work over the next 2 weeks). What, if any paperwork should he get. Does he get a P45 or P60 considering he hasn't paid any tax /NI with this job? He does get a payslip.
Can anyone advise please? TIA.

He will (should) also get a P60 for each tax year I.e. 2021/22 and 2022/23.
