Hi. Hoping someone who knows about working for the local council might be able to help. I have an interview next week for a job in my local district council...full time and permanent. However, there is a local gov reorganisation taking place, moving to unitary councils by next year. I'm wondering if this means the job isn't likely to exist for much longer. I know I can ask at interview but wondered if anyone knew anything about the process.
Also, any tips on performing well at a local council interview gratefully received.
