Please would someone calculate this holiday allowance?

Please would someone calculate how much holiday is owing for my friend?

25 hours per week
5 days a week
Start date 31 Jan 2022
End date 14 Apr 2022
Holiday is bare minimum 20 days plus bank holidays
A full time role for the same job would be 45 hours

Many thanks

You can use the government calculator here.

Plugging in the dates you provided it suggests due 28.4 hours.

It's
•Divide 25 by 45 to find out what percentage of full time they work.
•Times that by 20 to find out the hours per year they are entitled to.
•Divide that by 52 to find out what one weeks entitlement is.
•Multiply that by the number of weeks in the job to give the number of hours owed.

I did start with that but wasn't sure if it included bank holidays. Looks like it does.

That doesn't really work because
  1. She works different hours on different days
  2. It doesn't include bank holidays
  3. It's not complete weeks

28.4 hours
Yes this included BH . As everyone is entitled to 5.6 weeks holiday including BHs.
For workers that’ work Mon to Friday five days per week that equals 20 days (4 weeks) plus the 8 BHs.

It does not matter if she works different hours on different days. She is still entitled to same number of paid hours for holidays - annual leave or bank holiday combined. You just deduct the number of hours she would have worked for each bank holiday that falls on a working day. Depending on working pattern this will leave a differing amount for free choice days off.
