I've handed my notice in. Gave one month's notice as per my contract. Am owed 8 days annual leave by month end. Boss has asked me if I want to leave on 19th with a full month's pay or 11th pro rata'd. I feel a bit diddled because if I leave on 11th I will be owed 7 days max and I'll be a bit short next month, but I know my notice has pissed him off and he's going to be a pig to work with. Wwyd?

Depends how bad it’s going to be… reality is your notice is in so if you end up half arsing it until the 19th then what’s the worst that can happen? When do you start a new job? The break might be quite nice but not if it will leave you unmanageably short.

New job starts May 3rd, so I've got a good 10 days leave

Go for 19th, 15th and 18th are bank holidays.

@SevernEleven good point. I work from home too, so not like I'm in the office every day.
