Hi all

So currently I am working as a duty manager in a restaurant. I really wanna progress and decided to apply for a general restaurant manager position with a big well known brand. I was thinking I honestly have no chance as firstly I have zero experience of being a GM and secondly It stated you need to be a personal license holder to be considered which I am not. Anyway I have been waiting for a rejection email and surprisingly they want to interview me ( telephone) interview first, I imagine they will probably fit me to a different role as they will think I'm under qualified for this role and may want to meet me incase they have anything else. Since the interview is for a GM role does anyone have any ideas of what they might ask me incase I missed anything and any tips etc?

Hi,
I recently got offered a job and the thing I remember most about the interview was that I managed to bring a lot of my relevant experience into the conversation. I was lacking in one key area, but they seemed to think that my attitude would make up for that. Be very positive about yourself, especially that you have all the capabilities despite not ticking all the (assumed) boxes.
All the best!
