NHS Maternity Leave. Same if I Change Trust?

Hi

I wonderend if my entitlement to maternity leave would be the same if I changed Trusts? Or would I need to have worked at the new Trust for 6 months +?

I would double check the policies online or ask HR, but my experience nearly 20 years ago was that your entitlement to maternity leave remained the same if you continued to work in the NHS. The thing that may change is that your entitlement to SMP (the govt subsidised bit) depends precisely on your employment, but if you change jobs then you get essentially the same payment as MA instead.
