Leaving nhs

If you leave the nhs then regret it and wish to apply for your old job again will you start at the bottom of the pay scale again? I'm presuming so as you have broken your contract.

Your previous service should count towards your "new" role.

I don't think so - you haven't 'broken' any contract, and the point you're at on a pay scale is related to experience.
