Resignation help

I'm leaving a job I've been in for six months because they are a complete shambles and the boss is deluded. He's a nice guy, just completely incompetent to the point that if the governing body knew they'd fine him or at least put them in special measures.

I obviously won't say this in my resignation letter but how do I say this when he asks? I mean, I've got a list as long as my arm, literally.

Please let the governing body know!
No one whistle blowing is how these people get away with it :(

Ive given my position with the company some time to settle in and the job is not working out in the way I hoped it would and its not for me.

No thurther explanation needed

You haven't said what field you are in but any profession with a governing body generally will have a liability to clients. I guess this man is putting people at risk somehow and therefore needs reporting. Just report your list and let them do the rest.

@ChiswickFlo I absolutely will be, but I want to get away clean first because they will 100% know its me.

@MamaWhy

Perfect, thank you. I was struggling to articulate that for some reason.

Then the pp suggestion is good.

You don't need to give a reason in your resignation letter

Need to vent here because safest option. Been asked to do something not compliant with current regulations. Getting very frustrated, and very fed up. Good job I work from home. I'm so fed up. Not long and my notice can go in.
