Review meeting issue

I am currently on sick leave (approx. 6 weeks) as a result of physical injury. I am waiting for further imaging to determine a full diagnosis. My work place has now requested a meeting to discuss my absence, as it is a small company my boss has stated her secretary would be present at this meeting, this person is also her spouse. I do feel uncomfortable with this and wondered if anyone had encountered anything similar. I would be grateful for any advice on this. Thank you Flowers

What are you uncomfortable with - if the secretary wasn't the spouse would you still mind?
Is such a meeting usually recorded / notes taken - what's happened with other staff previously?

Could the meeting be done over the phone - what's the location and are you well enough to travel?

What is actually being "reviewed" as it sounds like you are awaiting a confirmed diagnosis so reasonable adjustments (if deemed necessary) would be difficult to identify as yet.

Is there an actual policy that is being followed and have you seen it?

It all sounds a bit vague...

Thank you for your reply. Yes it is the fact that it is their spouse, I haven't met them previously and I have concerns about discussing personal medical information on a Zoom call with them present. I should say that the injury has affected a pre existing gynaecological condition hence my hesitation in discussing this with the spouse there (I'm also an SA survivor).
The company is no sickness absence policy, it seems as though they haven't had to deal with an absence of this length previously. I have only work ed for larger companies before so not sure if this is normal. I'm not well enough to travel right now, I could suggest an over the phone review.
