Hi,

A question for those in the know about pay scale expectations in a Primary school...

What leadership scale point/range would be typical for a deputy head post in 1 form entry school?

Not many jobs advertised at the moment near me to find a comparison.

Some DHTs are as high as 18 but most are below 12 (outside Lindon)

A DHT needs to be 5 points and there needs to be a 2 clear point gap before the 7 points of the HT scale.
Assuming your school is a group 1 (sounds like with 1 stream entry) the highest a HT can go is L12-L18* - with L10 and L11 clear, the highest the DHT can be is L5 to L9.
The lowest it can be is L1 to L5.

Bare in mind tho that you would need to start on L3 at least before you exceed U3 with a TLR2A for a phase lead.
