MoJ application process

Had an interview for an MoJ role on weds, was told we'd hear within 24-72 hours.

My online portal has just started showing "Thank you very much for attending the recent interview.

Your application is currently being reviewed, and we will be in contact with you shortly to let you know the next stage of the recruitment process."

Does anyone have experience of which way they tend to go from this message or is it still completely unpredictable?

I've had a similar message - cant remember if it was from MOJ or DWP as it was a few months back but it followed with a message to say I had been unsuccessful. I'm not saying this will be the case for you it's more likely a standard message which doesn't mean anything either way !

It’s very, very typical. The portal was a run by an external provider and I s not the easiest to navigate. Also, even though your interviewers may have had best intentions to reply within timescales, people are often diverted at short notice to an urgent task which will delay their reply

I suspect they had to rearrange an interview at short notice so they've sent that to candidates to let them know they won't be able to respond within the expected timescales.

I had my interview on Friday just seen my messages it says the same thing. .have you heard anything back from them ?

Just received a confirmation I got an offer .so stay positive .

Hello - I've had the same message but says we will let you know the outcome at the end instead of recruitment process.

How long does it take once successful for the checks for MOJ?

I haven't got my interview feedback yet, hopefully il hear some positive news

I had an email the next day to say I was successful but I few of the people I started with waited weeks, might depend when you have your interview. Mine was one of the last

Same. My one was on the last day or second last day. The panelist said they will respond next week which is today, but I'm a little nervous about the email. Makes me think wouldn't they have just sent the email to say I'm successful or unsuccessful

They are always very very slow and have delays. Dont panic xxx good luck x

Just an update... I was unsuccessful with no feedback provided. I've emailed the vacancy holder for feedback.

Sorry to hear that. Did you get your feedback? What did they suggest to change for the future? I have a couple of MOJ interviews coming up and I want to do well.

Just be yourself. Transparent. Honest. They like to hear that you’ll do overtime and are a hardworking person. Speak about life events which have shaped you into who you are today.
