Wonder if anybody can give me any advice please. I am due in work on Thursday 6.30pm, however my place of work has currently closed down due to storm damage and my employers will not let anybody on site after 5pm, therefore have told me I'll need to do my 5 hours in the day on Thursday instead. Due to childcare I cannot do this, and they cannot confirm yet if I'll be unpaid. I do not have any holiday remaining so this is not an option. I am on a flexi type contract so I think they can change my hours, however I'm sure there probably has to be a reasonable notice period if doing this. Any advice? I can't afford to miss out on my normal monthly wage.
