Apply for Civil Service job twice using different e-mail?

I recently applied for a civil service job but have realised my application was a bit shit, so I would like to add a better justification. They say you cannot amend or withdraw and reapply...so is there anything to stop me logging in with a different e-mail address to apply a second time? Albeit the educational and work experience will be the same so I hope this won't disqualify me?

Really bad idea and would almost certainly disqualify you. Just amend the existing application.

HollowTalk · 15/02/2022 06:07

She's just said that you can't amend it!

HollowTalk · 15/02/2022 06:08

Could you email them and say that you submitted the application too soon and could they withdraw it so that you can resubmit?

labyrinthlaziness · 15/02/2022 06:13

That would come across as extremely odd.

You can only get in touch with them and ask - approach the HR contact rather than the recruiting manager.

Katkinsgreyy · 15/02/2022 06:38

I definitely would not do that. It will look suspicious.

I think as others have said, an email would be the best thing.

Dont do it, you could end yup barred from applying for future roles

Thank you all. I did email them on Saturday but as yet no response. I appreciate all the advice.

Isn't it linked to your NI number anyway?
