Contract role

Any advice please I’ve been offered a short term role but nervous as I’ve been burnt before where brought in as a temp and huge pressure & crap basically. No handover and expected to be a mind reader ...once bitten twice shy! Plus a few months work then looking again... any thoughts please?

Depends. I was a contractor for a long time and it's fine if you can hit the floor running. They all differ and I've had one's like you've described.

I assume the money's good enough to pique your interest? Do you know the company or anyone who works there? Would this involve you leaving a more stable role?

There's no harm in talking to the agent and finding out more.
