OMP and Resignation as a Support Staff/PPA Cover

heyya all,

I am in a bit of a confused.com state and would require all yous advice, so basically-

Early December 2021 i gave birth. It was manic last few months for me as I have been pushing my mat leave till the last minute (almost). Anyway, now that baby is with me, I feel that I am not ready to put him in any kind of child-minder/creche and would like "not to return" to the school.

I have been working for 5 years and the contract i have since has specifies that i need to give 2 months notice for resignation. (3 months for summer term).

I don't want to repay back the OMP and would like to resign with minimum fuss. I plan to go back a week before the summer holidays start (so end of July)and give my 2 months notice. Which means that I shall be out of that place by mid/end of October.

Is that realistic/feasible ? I am under Lewisham council

Will I have to repay back the OMP still ?

Will I have AL accrued ?

Please advice Smile
