Increased hours but pregnant...

Evening,
I've got the potential to increase hours at work but I'm pregnant (employer doesn't know). My maternity package is pretty good but need to have worked for the company for at least a year by due date to get full benefits. I just scrape into this but would only have been doing my increased hours for about 25 weeks by due date.
Does anyone know the likelihood of getting the full maternity package for the increased hours? I'm going to ask HR tomorrow but just impatient... Thanks

Your maternity pay is determined by the wages you get in weeks 17-25 of pregnancy roughly so would you have been working more hours in those weeks?

Yes I would

I am in the same situation and had already told them I was pregnant when I got the promotion, but because the increased salary was paid in my qualifying weeks, this is what my maternity pay will be based on.

Thank you, I heard back from HR and benefits apply immediately!! Just hope I get the hours now
