Help with Windows 10 and using a Computer!

Just started a new office based job and I've been given a computer and a mouse! Up until now I've been using a macbook with latest software and I feel like I've moved back in time, I can't remember it all works and I feel so embarrassed! I can barely type on their clunky keyboard as I'm used to my flat keys!

Any pointers to websites/youtube/books to give myself up to speed (particularly with Windows 10) before I get fired for being technologically incompetent?

Windows 10 is pretty simple to use really.

Could you get a USB keyboard with flat keys?

What are you needing to do? The whole of windows is a pretty large topic, might help if you could be a bit specific

Thank you @Danikm151, that's really useful and @marqueses

I'm going to ask for a different keyboard. The equipment is just so old and slow, it takes over 20 mins to boot up and log in. The mouse doesn't glide and is jittery and I can't do things nearly as quickly as I can on my own laptop.

Think to start with, I need to get my desktop better organised and workout what the shortcut keys are to minimise having to use the mouse.

Is the mouse one with a small ball inside? if so you could try cleaning the “wheels (not quite sure of technical name)”.

Open the cover, remove the ball, you will see three little wheels if they have a ring around the centre this is likely to be a build up of dirt. Using a sharp knife gently scrap off the build up (gross I know). Replace the ball and cover and the mouse should run more freely.
