Back to office with morning sickness

Hello, I am 8 weeks pregnant and since 5 weeks I've suffered from the worst morning sickness, being sick and not able to eat. I am now on medication and it's stopped the vomiting but the nausea is as intense as before. Ive been able to manage work quite well as I've been working from home, but now my work have asked us to start coming back to the office at least 3 days a week.
I am dreading the 1 hour commute (tube train bus) in the state I am in (plus dropping my toddler to nursery on route and picking him up after). Does anyone know if my doctor can write me a note supporting my case for working from home or can they only write sick notes keeping me off work all together ?
I would simply & honestly talk to my boss about it but this company is awful and they would want to see some proof from a doctor!
Thanks so much

Dr can write a note for allowances to working. eg no more than 8 hours etc so I don't see why they can't do one for home working.
