Would it be normal for a manager to suggest a phased return after only a week or two off for work related stress?
May I also add, the reason for the stress is a massive workload caused by an ineffective line manager.
Seems a little OTT to me.
I've gone back and asked for a reduction in my responsibilities (I'm doing the job of trip wools right now).
