I'm 50 and have worked in the same industry (logistics) for over 25 years. I have started up two business within this industry and worked in every aspect of it from opening letters / accounts / customer service / transport / account manager - there are a lot of transferable skills!
I'm now looking to move on but the biggest struggle is trying to sort a CV and cover letter etc... I just don't know where to start and how to word.
I've been looking at vacancies for managerial roles and think I'm not qualified for them as they sound beyond me but I know if I was to sit at the desk and get told what to do, I would be fine - I just don't have confidence in my abilities i think
Any advice on what to do and how i go about applying etc would be great
