Doesn't say when those 10 hours are.
DO you think it would be 2hrs a day?

Its most likely to be 2 hours each morning.

I saw a similar TA post here and thought of going for it but when I found out it was 2 hours every day I didn't pursue it as financially it wouldn't have been viable to pay for 5 mornings nursery for DS.

no that's just it. childcare would be impossible.
balls. thought that was going to the one.

Why not ask about the hours PMD? It may not be 2 hours per day, or they might be able to be flexible

Its a PITA isn't it? When I saw the one I mentioned I thought "Excellent! 10 hrs a week. Will break me back into the world of work gently" etc

At this rate I'll have to put off going to work until DS starts school full-time.

Give them a ring anyway, just in case its different. You never know

My DS has 15 hours a week and it amounts to 2 whole day (5 hours) 1 day without as he has swimming on that morning and the 'easy' subjects in the afternoon. and 2 days of 2 1/2 hours. But check with the school direct as every childs needs must be assesed individually.

purplemonkeydishwasher · 27/12/2007 16:43

uh, discoverlife...my DS is 2. he won't be applying for the job. I will!

Think discoverlife is saying that the hours you'd work would be related to the timetable of the child you were attached to (if it's that kind of TA job).

Is it one-to-one learning support or more general helping out in the classroom, do you know?

OHH!!!!!!!
Sorry. I'm thick today!
