Hi there

Just wondered if anyone is temping in these roles currently in London and if there is a steady flow of work?

I've worked as an EA for years in london but do not want a perm role as I really like change. I used to be a float and really enjoyed it.

Thanks!

Just seen this post. Yes there is a steady flow of work here - I've been doing this for approx the past 3 years and always had work - more contract temping - so e.g. 3 months minimum.

Government are a good source of work and also NHS - I think even if your skills are a bit rusty you should be ok. You'd need DBS clearance and maybe higher if you want to go into higher clearance roles. Most places offer hybrid or WFH conditions and fairly flexible hours too.

Look out for private companies offering contracts too - e.g. like the major accountants like Deloitte and KPMG - quite good to work for and better pay. You could even see if there was a float role in a large company like the accountants if that suited you.

Let me know if you need any agency recs.

Hi @Gonnagetgoing and @Remmy123 ,

I hope you're both keeping well.

I wondered if you could share details of temping/recruitment agencies in London which you've found to be good for temp and contract roles. Any recommendations would be much appreciated. 🙏
