Hi there, does anyone work for KPMG? I have had a contact there reach out about some vacancies that may be of interest to me. This is a professional contact, I do trust them to a certain degree to tell me the pros and cons (as they're a very lovely people-centred person and I don't think they'd screw me over!), but I'd like to get some other insights and experiences into the culture, work life balance etc etc.

The role wouldn't be in one of the delivery functions such as audit, it's more the central support side BUT would still be client facing.

Thank you!

I work in Big4 and did a stint in KPMG. It really really depends on the team.

At a high level I’ve found the people, almost without execution, to be great. Professional, friendly, high standards.

However, the client always comes first and that means work life balance sacrifice. The extent will depend on the team. Will you have billing targets? As that is something I personally find very stressful.

Feel free to PM me but I’d say Big4 is very much a lifestyle more than a job.

*exception! Not execution

Thank you @Mushrooms0up !

Ermm, I don't actually know how to PM Grin.

It would be for a mid-senior account management type role...

I would definitely go for the interview! They have great perks and it will just depend really if the role suits your personality.

It’s definitely not law firm / investment bank levels of stress at all.

My ex works for them in a very high position . He works in the Houston office now and he has no life outside work . He is happy with this as he is very ambitious
