I am an Occupational Therapist from Hong Kong with 3 years of experience. Just applied to a Bank 5 role and the application closed at 10/1/2022....anyone know usually how long does it take to hear back from the HR for interview arrangement?

Many thanks !!!!

The whole process can take weeks -> months for non-clinical roles.

It really depends on your trust and department

You should expect to hear if you've been successful for interview within a few weeks. Good luck!

Mostly 1 month sometimes to reply to jobs.

Is the bank role through the NHS Trust or NHS Professionals?

NHS Trust - my experience is a couple of weeks or never. OTs are in demand though so I would think it wouldn't take too long to get back to you.

NHS Professionals - I have nothing good to say about NHS Professionals. Every time I have ever dealt with them they have been rude and not at all helpful. It might be different for you.

How long are you planning to stick around for? NHS recruitment processes take a while but are fairly straightforward. If you're looking at 9+ months then I'd just apply for permanent or fixed term contract jobs. Alternatively, you could do a rotational job which means you move departments every 6 to 9 months if you're not sure where you would like to work.
