Self isolation from work (2nd time)

This is the 2nd time my boss told me to self isolate from work for 10 days (finished on Xmas day) cos the owner of the private nursery is covid positive and im not double jabbed, but ive had no test and trace notification for me to see if im eligible for the £500 payment scheme. Ive whatsapped her yesterday but she not read it and she usually quick at replying. There is possibility that she never gave my details to the test and trace 🙄

Its the same last month, a member of the staff was positive, my boss never gave my details to her to report it to the test and trace. Ive only start chasing it up as i wasnt sure if i was eligible for the £500. I've just checked it, look like i could be.

The owner and the manager arent helping me as ive gotta do all the chasing when they couldnt be bothered to do it correctly in the first place.

Ive emailed to the test and trace support team but they kept.on asking.me for the nhs id account to claim.for the £500 which i.dont have as its on the notification email.

Im.behind on my.mortgage atm. So im just a little bit stressed.

Isnt it their responsibility to make sure my details were passed over to the positive covid person when they report.it??

🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

Can you contact track and trace and log it?

Insensitiveboss · 23/12/2021 18:46

without the 8-digit covid account ID they cannot process any claim. 🙄🙄

Ive gotta ring the 119 and see what they say.

Did you have contact with the positive case? If its a non household contact then surely you PCR and then LFT daily if you're in England

dementedpixie · 23/12/2021 18:56

Ah sorry, is that just for vaccinated people?

Have you thought about getting vaccinated?

dementedpixie · 23/12/2021 19:00

Do you think they're trying to make you resign?
Legally you don't need to isolate unless told to by Test and Trace although if the manager won't let you into work that's an issue.

Sounds like they are trying to make life difficult for you on purpose

No, I suspect they’re not helping you because you’ve had 18 months to get vaccinated which would mean you didn’t have to isolate and didn’t have to disrupt their business and you haven’t. And, whilst it’s excellent that you’ve had your first jab now, I suspect they’re a little bit annoyed to be in this position again.

I’m assuming you have because you said you’re not double jabbed (or even triple jabbed now) so I’m assuming you’re single jabbed. If you’re not, get jabbed!
