I’m absolutely panicking as I have had a fairly long absence due to crohns (new diagnosis/treatment/shielded for 3 months) then unrelated Arthritis diagnosis also treated with injections however due to covid and long nhs waiting times I’m not long due back to work. I applied for a new job when I returned not thinking I’d get it, but I felt I needed a change of environment, it’s been a v difficult year.

So occ health form has come in. I guess I just don’t want to not get this job based on something I can’t help. Totally accept my sickness record will be an issue, just would like a fresh start where no one knows me, closer to home. Also not ward work and totally different environment.

I’ve been totally honest on the form and I’m fit for work on a busy ward by my own occ health dept. Wondering if anyone has experience of this.
