Presents for staff on Xmas day

Hi.

I’m working Xmas day and a manager in an nhs department. I want to bring in something nice for the staff who are on duty that day. Just looking for some ideas ? Nothing too costly as it’s only myself buying but all ideas are welcome.

As a management team we already gift staff before Xmas to thank them for all their hard work.

I wanted to just show an extra appreciation on Xmas day.

Thanks

Just get a big tin of Quality Street/Roses and leave it in a shared area?

Inexpensive but a tiny treat.

Could you bring in nice hot chocolate and get someone help you to make it for 4pm tea, with marshmallow/squirty cream options
And/or / Some nice gingerbread as a change from cheap chocolate?

Something treat-like, but a change from Roses/Quality Street/Mince Pies. My choices would be:

One of those trays of fancy dried fruit and nuts, with the chocolate decorated dates etc.

Lebkuchen or ameretti biscuits.

Baklava

Big box of macarons (Costco do boxes of 36, often on offer).

Cheapest and best received would probably be some home-baking! 😀

Amaretti!

It was last year! I'm sure the op sorted this out already Wink

Tub of chocolate or tins of biscuits go down a treat usually. As a manager though, I wouldn’t just do this for the team that are in Xmas day - but for all your team.
