Work anxiety

So basically I won’t go into where I work but for the past 18 months my job has given me severe anxiety, night sweats, not sleeping, being sick etc.. anyway I have finally got a new job which is fantastic and I’m waiting to start, although I’m not sure if it’s had more of a negative effect as the anxiety around going to work (my current job until I start new one) has got soooooo much worse making me not want to return.
I’m not sure whether I should keep my sanity and have less money for the month and I leave around or do I stick it out until I start new job?

Had you been working from home? Are they expecting you to go in?

Sorry just reread, could you take the last month off as sickness due to the anxiety?

No we don’t work from home we have to go in

Yes I could do but it’s deciding whether to take the pay loss as I would only receive statutory sick pay
