Hours per week

Looking for roles, had a job spec sent through it states hours are minimum of 40. It’s an office job...not come across that before normally it’s 37.5. Is 40 standard?

Depends on business needs. If you are answering phones for example they may have their phone lines open 9-5:30 so need you for that extra time.
