So it's been suggested to me (twice now) that I should merge two roles I had at the same company as one. I was there for 2+ years and one role was held 7-8 months and then got promoted. Would this be considered lying? I've thought a solution to this problem is to have the companies as headers with the total length of tenure at the top (same as LinkedIn).
