MSc interview - advice

Hi,
I've been invited to an interview for an MSc I've applied for (starting in January). I'm assuming they will be asking questions that will show I am able and motivated to complete the course, as well as why this particular course and university. Has anyone got any ideas of other questions I should be ready for? I haven't interviewed for anything for 20 odd years and I really don't want to mess it up.

Thanks in advance.

I’m not sure any of the threads on the new-ish ‘Mature Study and Retraining’ board

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/mature_students

deal specifically with postgrad interviews - but between them they cover a wide range of issues that might arise as a mature student. If you have a look you might be forewarned about potential areas of concern. It may help you to identify questions for your interviewers, too.

How are you funding your course?

Thank you - I hadn't seen that board so I'll take a look.

I am self-funding the course.

Uh-huh?

Government Postgraduate Loan?

Crypto-currency win?

Savings?

(Forgive my curiosity- it’s one of the biggest issues when people start considering postgraduate study after a long break from academic study. And most people don’t know about the first option.)

Yeah, I'm using savings.

Crypto-currency win would have been good though!
