Work in an organisation I like but feel I’m being sidelined. Weird thing is other staff in our team reporting to the same person have felt the same for one reason or another. We are all fairly senior. A couple have resigned already. One is wanting promotion but seems to be being blocked by more senior members of team. I’m just being ignored. Been given less and less tasks etc. There were new roles being advertised in our company which our manager said most of us could not apply as not qualified (which is rubbish by the way and the reason one person quit). Funny thing is they can’t seem to attract people to these Roles or people are not applying due to wanting next years bonuses. But surely our company don’t want to refresh practically a whole team? These team members are highly qualified but it’s like they want yes men? I believe I will be offered a new job next week - but in all honesty I’d prefer to stay where I am to get said bonus and shares. However not sure if I’ll get a bonus as was given meh feedback earlier in year. If I didn’t achieve a certain % in a survey I’d get a low appraisal rating. Funnily enough I surpassed
% in survey so they can’t get me on that but I suspect i will still get a low rating. If I do will mean no bonus anyway! The thing we all have in common is that all persons are quite strong and a bit outspoken ( when it’s warranted but not unprofessionally so). But it seems from behaviours of our leadership they want a total refresh and is making our employee experience at work pretty bad that most of us are looking for other jobs . Anyone have any tips on this or experienced similar? Is it worth staying? Was offered 2 jobs in summer but stayed in hope it would improve!
