Hi, I have a band 8b interview next week and am extremely nervous. It's a management/strategic leadership position. I haven't had an interview for years. Can anyone tell me any great tips for preparing? Really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance

Always accept glass of water, precious thinking time if you take a sip.
Don’t be worried to ask them to repeat question if you feel you’ve gone off on a tangent.
Trust core/pride values always relevant.
Smile :)

Just breath ....

If you've managed to get to the interview stage then they clearly see something in you. Focus on that. Re-read the person specification as they will likely ask questions that reflect that.
(I recently had a school interview which was very similar)
Look up on their agendas and research the job role so you can answer any questions confidentiality should they ask.
DO not tell them you are nervous. Act as confident as you can. (Difficult I know)
They'll also probably give you some role based questions, such as what wild you do if? Questions. Try and google the job role you are interviewing for and see what other people have said about the process ...
that's what I did, and I got offered the job 2 hours post interview! And I was shortlisted from 160 applicants and then offered the job out of 8. Best of luck - totally understand how your feeling! But even if you don't leave with a job offer, it's excellent experience for your next!
