I’ve been offered a new job. I am just waiting on the written contract coming in so I can read and make a decision. I had two job interviews lined up last week. This one and one other which was cancelled due to on of the the interviewers having a death in the family.
In my gut, I was more keen on the job that interview was cancelled so I was a bit disappointed. This role was advertised as full or part time (I work 30 hours a week). The salary was not mentioned in the advert so I have no idea if my salary would even have worked for them.
Is it acceptable for me to email the cancelled interview to somehow explain what’s happened and ask, if they think my hours and salary would work and then I could decide whether or not to hold on for the interview at a later date? I do like the sound of the offered job but I’d hate to be wondering what if on the other.
