hi - started new job for a small charity a few months ago. Been giving it 100%, am so grateful for the chance.
I've been offered a 'promotion' to head up a new line of business for them.
sounds great but....
They want me to do a full-scale business plan with cost projections, without any advice given on what they actually want to end up with. The more I observe the CEO and my line manager, who are both my bosses for this, the more I think they act like blind chancers, flying by the seat of their pants.
I can see how they win contracts then watch something go to s**t by walking away from it before running back to the trustees to ask for more cash (the charity's reserves are dwindling and we're it not for a massive estate sell-off they'd be non existent) .
so...MN, what are the questions I need to ask them? can you help?
