Feeling the workplace is a threat?

I don't think I should feel how I do. It may be because of experiences to date that have caused it possibly? But I've come to realise that when I enter whereever I work or have worked I feel like I'm under threat for something, possibly like a threat of loosing my job etc? I feel like I'm constantly at risk of being found inadequate and then work looking for ways to show me up or get rid of me?! Is this imposter syndrome or something else?

Does anyone feel relaxed at work, like totally secure (obviously ignoring business owners etc)...?!

I think it's imposter syndrome from what I've read. DH doesn't feel it so it probably is an unusual /ott response to stress?

I'm the same. Nothing to offer - posting in solidarity. Grin.

And yes, sounds like Imposter Syndrome.
