Wondering if anyone has experience of structural discrimination - not just from employers, but also from outsourced HR organisation.

OP posts:

Please can you give more info on what you need to know? Your query is a bit open-ended. Thanks

No not a term I have come across, what do you mean by “structural discrimination?

HollyBollyBooBoo · 24/10/2021 04:02

Like what sort of thing, that's a huge topic!

daisychain01 · 24/10/2021 10:03

@Aprilx it's a blanket term for Discrimination in an organisation where policy decisions and work practices are discriminatory at their core. Institutional Discrimination iow

The OP needs to tell us what help they need rather than asking if we have any experience of it, as it's not something people should have to write War and Peace about in the hope it tells the OP what they need to know.

Never heard of the term and I've just completed equality and diversity training.

@gurnnine

Never heard of the term and I've just completed equality and diversity training.
If it was the same as the D&I training I took for work, it wouldn't have covered every last detail of Equality legislation, just the main bits to get the message across,

It’s not a legal term at all.
