Not enough work

I've been in a new job as a PA for approx 4 months now - all seems to be going well. But there's not enough or much work! Compared to my previous job as a PA in a government department the workload is way down.

Should I mention this to my line manager?

I'd be careful before you manage it - it could be they are still learning to work with you or the work may be more seasonal. So if they give you more you might then be overloaded. If you decide you still want to mention it you could start by gently dropping in "If there is something else you'd like me to pick up just let me know" and see how it goes from there. But deffo think carefully before saying you need more.

*mention it (not manage it)
